Welcome to the WCC website and the 2010 season

We are lucky to play on the best ground in London with facilities to match. As well as having a splendid pavilion, four good outdoor nets, an indoor sports hall with 4 nets, and an excellent wicket, we have recently invested in a complete renovation of the outfield, slicing off the top 4 inches of soil then laying new top soil and complete re-seeding – pictures can be seen elsewhere on this site.

This season we have two new captains in Neil Turk (1st XI) and Tom Eaves (2nd XI) with Paul Swift (3rd XI) and Andy Lewin (4th XI) hoping to add to their collection of trophies. I’m also delighted that TC (Tim Carter) is now Club Captain.

Our new website has been under re-construction over the winter and we hope you like it. Our aim is that this becomes the principal source of information about the Club. From committee contacts to an extensive history of a club which was formed over 150 years ago; match reports; information about our various coaching programmes for youngsters; descriptions of our varied social calendar and annual tour(s) and an array of photos from years gone by – it’s all here for you to explore at your leisure.
